Irish Turf

A unique selection of skillfully crafted Irish turf and peat products made from 100% natural Irish bog turf which can more than 9000 years old. Ireland is a country with a shortage of trees but an unusual abundance of peatlands and peat has traditionally been harvested for fire fuel and heating.

The turf and peat come from Ireland's oldest boglands. The products are handcrafted by skilled craftspersons. They are specially designed with Irish themes that capture the essence of that era. Turf is a term applied to a dried sod of peat.
