Johnny Duhan
Johnny Duhan has mapped out his journey in a series of albums that portray his life - his early Limerick boyhood in Just Another Town , his tilt for fame and the girl in Don Quixote, his spiritual quest in Flame and Tree, an album deeply rooted in family history.
Johnny's songs have been recorded by a diverse range of singers, including Christy Moore, Mary Black, The Dubliners and The Irish Tenors. He has also scored music for film and television. 'The Voyage', one of his most popular songs, is performed regularly at weddings and anniversaries all over the world. Johnny's autobiography There Is a Time was published by Brandon Books in 2001.
The Voyage - A Johnny Duhan Songbook gathers together, for the first time, fifteen of his finest songs.
