Irish soccer memorabila. Soccer is the second most played sport in Ireland after gaelic football. Traditionally Ireland's most promising players play their trade in the English League though Ireland has a strong domestic scene.
Many hundreds of Irish soccer players have played to the highest level. Some of our most famous players include Johnny Giles, Liam Brady, Roy Keane, Paul McGrath, Robbie Keane and of course the legendary George Best.
The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland teams have qualified for the World Cup and in Italia '90 the Republic of Ireland reached the quarter finals.
